How do I get started as soon as possible?

First, sign up for an Assessment Report. This report will give you a clear assessment of your writing and determine which of our packages is most suitable for you. The fee ($50) will be deducted from the recommended writing package upon registration.

What can I expect from the revision process?

In each draft, your editor reads, digests and thoroughly reflects on the content and writing style of your current draft. Doing so allows the editor to create a clear outline and build sound structure to your draft. Once this is complete, the editor makes the appropriate edits (depending on stage of revision) and gives you detailed and clear feedback to be addressed in the following draft.

How do I see your edits and comments?

We work in Microsoft Word. All edits are made directly in the document. Comments & suggestions are accessible under Review > Track Changes.

What is the turnaround time for each revision?

Each revision takes typically 2 to 3 business days and varies depending on the availability of the editor.

In order to complete the revision process in a timely manner, we encourage our students to submit each draft no later than 3 weeks from the last revision.

For quicker turnarounds:
We offer express services for an additional fee. If you are interested in an expedited service, write us an email, and we will provide you with a quote.

How will I receive feedback on my writing?

All revisions are sent via email, and will include comments, feedback and suggestions directly in the document.

We do not offer verbal consultations. However if you feel this form of communication would be of great service to you, you should inquire about our availability and rates.

What should I do if I’m having trouble getting started?

Don't worry, you have come to the right spot. Seeking guidance early on in the writing process will save you significant time and headache. Instead of losing sight of your essay's structure and logic, you’ll have an experienced editor helping bring your writing closer to perfection.

Do you offer editing services for supplemental essays?

We offer editing services for all types of application writing, including personal statements, supplemental essays, scholarship essays as well as recommendation letters.

For past and current students, we offer discounted rates.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal and all major credit cards. Payments are made in full and are non-refundable.

In the case of extreme, unforeseeable circumstances, a deferral or partial refund may be requested, but the decision remains at our discretion.

I have no time to write my personal statement. Could you write one for me?

Under no circumstances do we write personal statements on the behalf of our students. Our writing packages are based on a collaborative process through which feedback and edits are made by your editor AND you. Therefore, if you need help getting started, you should consider our Start-to-Finish package, which includes all steps in the writing process - from brainstorming to fine tuning.
